8520 Curve here, and i love it
Truth is, i dont need half its functions, but just got fed up of using the same phones in different guises, i wanted something a bit different.
Wi-fi enabled, that set up easily.
I dont use the email function.
Camera is acceptable (ive no idea what mp it is)
I havnt got to grips with the calender and notable dates etc...it does seem a bit fragmented, but i havnt really studied it yet.
The querty keyboard is easier to press a wrong key, but that may be my fingers, and i find it faster to text with than using predictive on Nokia etc..
Very easy interaction with the PC.
Nice big screen, perfectly acceptable for browsing.

Nothing earth shattering in my ramblings, i dont profess to know half of what it can do...but i like it.

Its going to be difficult to see myself going back to Nokia et al.

I dont know if you're going for a contract phone FF, but i got mine ( i get all mine) sim free from Carphone Warehouse. The secret is to find out which provider (02, Voda etc) is cheapest.
They'll sell the phone at different costs depending on who you say the operator is going to be. I saved about £50 on mine that way. You only have to spend an extra £10 on a top up which you may, or may not use, its still money saved.

i've got a work bb 8900 and it seems to work pretty well. i only use it for phone/email, but it can connect to my wireless network at home so i can surf the 'net on it without incurring data charges.

with some jiggery and a lot of pokery i've now got it to work as internet access point for my laptop so i can do my freelance job anywhere and still send and receive files via email.

If you want to play games and get distracted then buy an iphone. I have a Curve 8900 which I use for work, and its brilliant. Recently had a competition with my friend who has an iphone to see who could input data faster, I won all the time. Reason beings it is not only functional but does what is says on the tin.

(well it’s a matter of choice.)
It is a matter of free choice, indeed, acquainting oneself with as much information as possible which includes reading recommendations given on forums like this one.

Such personal recommendations could be considered a very powerful form of advertising (as well as being free) which is why some retailers consider spam to be a valid marketing tool.

Spam messages can often be identified by, for instance, being posted by someone who has recently joined the forum and using their first post to resurrect a topic which is a year old and seems to be completely unrelated to the general nature and focus of the forum.
