Thanks for that, I do have an ANdroid phone, but I find it difficult reading on such a small screen (age maybe!).

Oh yeah, I forgot how bad magazines tend to be on the phone. If you're interested, you might be able to read mags on the Play website on a laptop or computer instead. I know they let you watch movies that way.

I personally get my news fix off the Internet, never was a magazine person except for those women's ones filled with people's life stories. Those were a good read when I was little.

I've said cycling weekly as its the one I'll pick up more than others, but I don't buy it regularly and can get often swayed by a cover freebie on other mags.
I see people take up the subscription offers, will have to look into this if its worthwhile......TBH I stand around in Tesco's quite a bit browsing whilst SWMBO does the shop
Ooh, aren't you lucky, if I tried to browse cycling magazines whilst my wife did the shopping, I'd have my b**ls on a plate:stop:

Tbh, I'm more interested in knowing why CA is the only one you read...

Much more oriented to the leisure rider than CP I'd say, and much less testosterone-fuelled. CA do also cater well to women in their features, their staff, their kit, as well as older riders - also on the front cover

To be fair, I've only read CP a couple of times - once bought for a pair of socks or similar!

I have a subscription, 2 years for the price of one. Will probably renew. It's the only mag I have, other than a weekly TV guide

I've taken out a trial 3-issue sub to Cyclist because it attracts me in the same way that Singletrack used to: it's a boutiquey mag with lots of superb photos and not much advertising. Some of the pictures excite the hell out of me:

My friend donates his Pro Cycling mag to me after he's read it, which I flick through but I'm not very impressed with it. I certainly would not fork out the £400.00 or whatever it is they charge for it. I've had bikes that cost less than some magazines.
A friend gave me a virtually full set of Bicycle Culture magazines from the 90's which have been an excellent read though. Put out by cycling enthusiasts and covering a huge range of cycle related topics. All self funded so they did not have any adverts because it had such broad range of ideas it is still worth a read today.
