Reliability & parts supply isn't exactly confidence inspiring with them

What's your source there?

I'm naturally sceptical about a new to the market brand offering much cheapness but I'm not sure they've been around long enough to be assessed properly.

The warranty is certainly up with the best.

Parts are an issue. My son is a HGV driver and he knows a few depots where there are many cars awaiting repair/spares.

Parts availability is worsening on lots of different brands.

We regularly see 6+ weeks on standard marine service parts

Go have a read of Trip Advisor for starters, then type Jaecoo faults on Youtube, I wouldn't have one given, let alone pay for it

I got my e Vitara (the Suzuki version of the urban cruiser) in 18 days 7 weeks ago which was pretty good. Even then they were unable to give delivery times of some combinations of spec.

From Suzuki specific forums the problem seems to be a little worse now l

One of the biggest issues with modern cars is glitches with infotainment systems, my Cupra Born was a nightmare in its first year, so bad that I even ended up with some compensation from VAG, however with the latest software update it seems to have settled down now, shame as it tainted my ownership experience of what is a very good car. The latest Born and ID.3 are apparently much improved and I think we will probably buy the new ID.3 Neo as our next car.

On my 25 plate work van, the LCD dashboard would just go black, an update seems to have sorted it, but no speedo or rev counter is pretty poor and should have been found during development

Pick up next Wednesday
I’ve no idea what model it is, as l have very little interest in them since the Quattro Sport
