Which Heart Sensor with a Garmin?

Update: my HRM failed within 35 days of purchase. For various reasons, I didn't do anything about it immediately (it was just outside Amazon's return window of 30 days). Finally got around to contacting Garmin during Christmas break on 27/12. New HRM arrived today, without me needing to provide proof of purchase or the broken product.

so big tick to Garmin's astounding customer service, but slightly curious as to how often these things fail if they were happy to take my word for it.

Not very often, I don't think, which is probably why they were happy to take your word for it. If you don't get many claims, the easy and cheap option is to just send out a replacement product if you do get one, even if there's a chance it may be a false claim.

I found Garmin's support excellent too. A few months back my Cadence Sensor stop working and after trying everything they asked me to do on the phone they send me out a brand new cadence sensor.

Any problems contact Garmin.

I've just done thd same today as mine stopped working twice they sending new one out and only on phone 10 minutes which is suprising trying to get through to any support can be a nightmare top draw support
