Black ice for me, but then I'd choose my routes carefully in thick fog, black ice can lurk anywhere but there are a few spots where I know to be wary! I suppose I've got spiked tyres but black ice can catch you out on days you aren't expecting it so have set off with the wrong bike!

I don't find either of them scary, but of the two fog is the better one to deal with, at least it wont put me on my arse if I foul up.

Definately Ice. Fog you can cycle in as long as you take care. Ice will get you no matter how much care you take. I know from bitter experience.:bicycle:

I had a niggling pain in my right elbow for six months after my front wheel slid sideways on black ice.

If I was a burglar I think I'd prefer fog as well.

I had the trike ready for a ride after work today, but got home and saw a bit of fog...
Out came the rollers.

Ice, fog, I can't be a$$ed wig either any more, particularly after a) a guy rolled his car last night just down my road because of the fog and I don't fancy that landing on my new trike and b) seeing the carnage on this year's Jack and Grace 100k and the ice problems.
