I hated 'Fame' with a passion. I mean, REALLY hated it. I absolutely abhored Coco - she was pathetic, whiny and self-centred. Leroy was sulky and just hung around looking pissed off all the time. But they were the 'cool' characters, everybody wanted to be them, everyone else was just a bit nerdy... because they didn't dance, they only played piano or something.
THAT was what I really really hated about the program. It was the NY Academy of Arts (or some such) wasn't it? But only dancing was cool. Even cello players (yes, boring cello players) became cool when they danced. God I hated it.... I couldn't dance.
