Which News Site?

I tend to like to catch up with things over breakfast before work, and generally muse the BBC news website. It does tend to get a bit 'static' though, with little in the way of 'new' news.
Anybody care to recommend something else?

Twitter. It really is the fastest thing to update and you can play a game of guess the news story by people's reactions to it.

Always more than one. Currently BBC, Al Jazeera (while it lasts), Guardian, and proper newspapers.

I quite like the news feed on my iphone, it gives a good cross section from uk and internation sources.

Aside from those mentioned already, I like Liberation - their app will send you a link to their news roundup article each day too.

Sickipedia - surprisingly good at keeping up with world events.

Www.irn.co.uk because it has full summaries all on the page which the BBC no longer do. Sadly it's based in Sky news reporting so you should double check before acting upon anything there.

Www.theskimm.com/recent is OK but very American - I wish there was a European similar daily one page. Eurotopics used to be good but now you have to click for anything more than a headline.

I'm trying to find a better alternative, too. I've had a gutful of The Guardian telling me I'm evil just because I'm male, and my local newspapers are both anti-cyclist.
