Just weighed the 2013 Roam 2 at 13.5 kg. The Crosstrail Elite Disc 2014 is 14kg. So pretty much the same weight, I doubt the 0.5kg difference will make any noticeable benefit to the rider to be honest. Hope that helps

went to the shop looked at both, 10mins later walked out with the Roam 2, went for a ride and i am very happy with the bike

Is the Roam 2 2014 the same weight as Roam2 2013 ?

I should think so, its exactly the same components just a different paint job.

I am so looking forward to it, I tried the Cross Trail both the sport disc and the Elite but the Roam was a far better ride and the spec is better and £50 cheaper win win win
