I am going to treat myself for my 4oth birthday in the sales to a new summer bike.
I have a Cannondale Synapse Tiagra 2011 in a 56 frame at present but I am going to throw some guards on and use for my winter ride.
I have looked at the following.
Cannondale Caad10 105 replica
Cannondale Super Six 105 replica
Scott CR1 Team

I am also wondering whether it would be wise to drop a frame size to a 54 with them being more race orientated than my Synapse or stick with a 56, however will try all out if I can find them local to me.

I've been running a CAAD10 DA for around 18 months and IMO it's the best bike I've ever owned.

I've had a full carbon Trek Madone 5.5 and a full carbon Focus Cayo Pro previously so feel I can make a decent comparison between alu and carbon.

And the CAAD10 wins everytime for me

I really like Cannondale, had a Scott speedster s20 but didn`t get on with it.
I myself am swayed to the Caad 10, I am 5" 10" with 31" inside leg the Synapse is very comfortable but would anyone have any advice on frame geometry on the Caad 10 to the Tiagra as to whether a 54 would be better in Caad 10 spec.
