I now have an Exposure Flare in the middle and Smart 1/2 watts on either side. And an Exposure RedEye Micro on my head with a Knog Frog in the helmet vent.

I'm playing / experimenting with the numbers that I have lit, to see whether there is any noticeable effect on the drivers who pass me and it does seem, from very brief and non-scientific analysis, that I get more space when they are all in use.

I have to agree with Norm the more the merrier , but you can supplement it with reflective s as well , the amount of light commign off the back of your bike/ clothes can help a lot as well.

I run the 1/2 watt smart along witha standard smart flasher on each pannier bag , along with a reflector on the seat post , more stickers on the pannier back and then reflective piping on the pannier bags then finally my helmet has some stickers on it as well.

Finally i have either a windproof with reflective piping or heaven forbid if its warm a sam browne belt , i cycle only in the dark on unlit lanes so i go for the x mas tree effect ...

Mine was taken with a crappy camera as you cant see the flash but yours does look nice fossy  I am tempted to get a better rear light in the future , maybe a something like the astrum or a similar 2 x 1/2 watt brand.

The Magic shine lights are sweet and i am sorely tempted.

My piccie post was really to show the effects of reflective s stacked with lights , i hope i showed that they can add a lot to your profile as well as having bright lights .

I have one of these as well , which is very close to the smart and at £2 or so a pop i can afford to get 2 more and stick them on each pannier .

Probably end up getting both to see which one is best. Which is the better mount for taking it off?
