The Cube, by quite a bit imo.
And anything with FSA Gossamer is a pile of crap.

i agree with you there, i'll have to try a few different sizes, i did sit on the Boardman road comp 57.5 cm in halfords and i had to really stretch over to get on the drops properly, the member of staff did recomend the 55.5 cm frame for me if i went for the team carbon. i understand though that it vary's from bike to bikeYes but define value. If you get the wrong bike and it hurts you or you don't wuvv it you don't ride it, value lost not added.
i forgot to add but if i do get the carbon i will put a full 105 groupset on it eventuallyThe Cube, by quite a bit imo.

i could do with test riding a fewThe cube is a race oriented bike, rather than a more endurance type geometry. Is that what you want?
It looks nice than the dull black boardman BUT as others have said go sit on them, and preferably road test. Which, unless you are in Northern Ireland (or can hop across the water) you won't be able to with the cube from CRC (do t know if they offer test rides regardless)
i suppose it is mainly personal preferenceIve never been a fan of cube . No idea why , I guess they never hit the radar when looking into bikes rather than money v's bikes .
So at the moment i currently ride on a Boardman hybrid comp and i want to upgrade to something a little more "sporty", to be specific, a road bike with drop bars. My budget is around the £1k mark, i currently have my eyes on two bikes but i am stuck for decision so i hope you guys can help especially from experience. the first bike is the Boardman Team carbon from halfords (http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/road-bikes/boardman-road-team-carbon-bike) and the second choice is the Cube Agree GTC Pro 2014 from chain reaction cycles (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/cube-agree-gtc-pro-road-bike-2014/rp-prod114087) the cube is slightly cheaper because of clearance but which bike is best value for money and great for a beginner like me? also if there are any other bikes out there that you guys could recomend then i'll greatly apreciate itThis is my first ever post on here so don't be too hard if iv'e got something wrong
i am looking forward to what you guys have to say
