Hi,

I am looking at purchasing a spin bike for use at home in the garage. I am not looking at spending too much, maybe £300, and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what to buy.

I have seen the following on Amazon but that only has a 13kg and I have seen that the recommendation is at least 16kg:

Other than that there is one on argos for £299 but am not sure if that is any good:

Any comments on the above or links to other options would be appreciated.

Many thanks

You can also consider a turbo trainer and put your bike on it (I am assuming you have one). There is one for sale on cyclechat : http://www.cyclechat.net/threads/turbo-trainer.140969/#post-2697988
I have a similar one and it works great.

Don't own a bike so I am looking at a spinning bike instead. I know it is not a direct replacement and most people will say buy a bike and a turbo but I want something that I can use at home in the evening when I finish work.

Fair enough, you could consider getting a second hand bike and a second hand turbo trainer and spent around the same. The added bonus would be that you can go out when the weather is nice.
I do not know anything about the all in one units you are looking for, so I can't help you with there.
Good luck

They use Keiser M3 at my gym and by all accounts they are pretty good and you should be able to get a second hand one for that price.

I don't know anything about spin bikes so please bear that in mind though!
