can u recc a trouser for commuting ,prefer something"normal "looking ie not tights as iv got a few pair of them ,water resistant at least and a bit stretchy?
they ones are exactly like i was thinking ,but they look a bit like overtrousers ,du know if they are? i want something to wear without cycling tights or anything ,next to skin(ooeer missus lol
iv seen some that say they are ,craghoppers i think ,kinda stretchy and say theyr waterproff (im not expecting them to be as good as they say but a wee but of shower resistance would b good

I use the Craghoppers Kiwi stretch pro for occasional short rides when I don't want to look like a cyclist.
Light, comfortable, quick drying.
Shop around for better prices though.
Debenhams quite often have deals on Craghoppers (or my local one does)
Maybe people wear trousers as they find them comfortable and don't feel the need to be a lycra clad blur. I wear cropped trousers over padded shorts when going to work in the summer, saves me carrying the trousers
