My daughter Shorty didn't believe that not many do as I threw it on the compost bin to a mini protest and I said if you like, i'll do a poll with the spandex boys and girls. So I did.

I chop the end off even when I’m cutting cucumber to add to Bertie the puppies kibble, same with the end of a carrot.

I rarely eat any part of cucumbers as they are shoot! So if I were to eat some, it'd be thinly sliced on sliced white bread, when the vicar comes round for tea!🧐

That's a pretty good question, as the stalk end presumably would be a bit tougher than the flower end.
