Just thinking it's a bit bizarre to pickle cucumbers, given that it's a fruit.

But most of us like a chutney, which is sort of a fruit pickle.

I used to love cucumber and ate it like an apple when I was a kid.
Since my last Covid jab cucumber has tasted putrid, along with spring onion and red onion.
Salads are now a bit limited 😬

That's a shame.
Ever since getting rat @rsed on Laphroaig once, I cannot touch Whisky but that's an entirely different thing.

Our dogs like cucumber (amongst other veg) so we give them the ends.

Never had Pinno down as a cucumber chomper, mind.

Given that the skin contains most of the fibre and the ends contain the most skin, I suspect that they're the best for you.
