When I went to pick my lad up from school today there was an older chap in his 60s who was wearing a bobble hat with two bobbles, ear flappy things with some sort of tassels on it, brightly coloured wool too, completely unnecessary. He had a kind of defiant look about him so that you knew he wasn't even wearing it in a ironic fashion, he was just wearing it in an and-what-are-you-gonna-do-about-it? way. I nearly punched him.

Why didn't you? Ear flappy things are even worse than bobbles.

The bobble hat 'sans bobble' is a style icon though...

I like my bobble hats without a bobble. My wife calls them my daft hats. She may have a point but I have a warm head.
