Who else is at work today 28/12

Was supposed to be back today, but been struck down by the lergy and therefore called in sick. Hopefully be back in tomorrow, as I've shed loads to get on with and hoping there will be less interruptions due to skeleton staffing in operation.

Working boxing day yesterday and today.

I'm at work but it's more "attending" rather than "working" as the docks are quite quiet at the moment. Christmas Eve & Christmas Day were my rest days for last week and Boxing Day and yesterday were my rest days for this week so no additional time off. Also I'm now working straight through until next Friday, apart from New Year's Day when the building is closed and I've had to take leave as it's not officially a public holiday.

Boxing Day, yesterday and today...and the rest of the week and then New Years Day as well. .


Worst run I ever had, never ever had to work Boxing Day before..my fault, it didn't even occur to me when I was booking holidays earlier in the year.
Ah well....

I'm off sick,otherwise i would've been out working. All i've done today is go on my exercise bike in front of the telly ( watched cyclo cross and that that cross country skiing where they shoot at targets with a .22 rifle)) and sleep.

I'm working. I don't normally work at Christmas but, I'm in a new job and have to show I'm keen. Plus I have plans for the extra income.

I had the easiest day ever compared to the last 4 weeks anyway. However bloomin cold out this morning . Building up to another 3 day weekend off though so happy days.

Yup, me. I didn't have to as we shut the office for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year.
But it's a good time to come in and clear a load of stuff that needs doing and to catch up before the new year.

Our place shut till the 3rd Jan , Takes a few days to get the paint ovens up to speed so its not like we can shut for a couple of days ..... I am ready to go back already , much as i love my family there is only so much enforced niceness you can take and the roads have been to icy and cold for my nerves and shite circulation to get out on decent rides .
