Davidc said:I get it (and theft etc for the bike) on the household insurance. Must unlapse my CTC membership sometime though.
What I don't have is road risks for the bikes. (ie repair/ replacement if they get damaged and I can't recover from a 3rd party) Anyone else get that with their insurer?
Crankarm said:Nope it's called comprehensive insurance and tbh I'm not sure it would be economically viable. I don't have it. Anyway given that any damage is likley to be the result of being in collision with a vehicle and all vehicles have to have insurance it is not a major concern IMHO. Mind you there are allegedly 2.5 million uninsured drivers on the roads which is only set to rise in the current recession. Also it depends what damage is done to one's bike. If superficial then the average motorist would probably pay up to avoid hassle of getting their insurer involved. If serious damage then you are likley to be injured as well or dead.
Davidc said:Yes - just wondered if anyone got it included.
