Fascinating, but that gives rise to the question- Why doesn't everybody use them, (especially pros) to get rid of the nightmare of leading Paris-Roubaix when suddenly 'BANG pssssssst'..

Because they are a lot slower, and the ride quality is not as good.

So, it seems humans can do all sorts of amazing things like fly to the moon, and devise exciting new TV game show formats etc, but they still can't invent a simple practical puncture proof tyre..

Tyres are not the problem , we really need to invent self cleaning roads so there is not any debris in the 1st place
