cor i miss B&W developing. i got some cracking shots with my old nikon.
interestingly enough my future brother in law managed to get the exact same model as my old cam off the net, it was like memory lane playing with that camera.

Filter for B&W is red - you used to be able to get a red safelight bulb - but it needs to be one specifically manufactured for that purpose (Philips used to do them). That one you could just put into the normal light-fitting.

I know cause im a pro !!

brown was always easier to work with than red but not as safe depending on the material, but for normal multigrade etc shud be fine

I had only ever seen red, hence the confusion. Mine must be brown. Hard to say what colour the other is as it's very dark, almost like a welding mask.
