I've just been to my profile and unchecked the Show Signatures box. 
Forum's so much tidier to look at now, and so much easier to glance through, without all that tedious dross (especially those guys who've chosen to enclose quotes from other people's posts in their sig.-lines...)
Oh and BTW, if anyone feels mortally offended by my Bulwer-Lytton nonsense (it's actually a private joke between my wife and me), but wants to keep sig.-lines turned on, by all means say so
