Only got back from Italy on Saturday. The bike is 20 miles away. Didn't win the last of my roof rack parts on ebay until 2 hours ago.

Resting from working too much, also Arch and NT dropped in, and then we went to see Russell Howard.

Oh and it was p*****g with rain and blowing a gale. That would do it.

Took the kids to Chislehurst Caves, a nice day out then we went food shopping

My bike is at the LBS, and it was torrential rain and blowing a gale, so left my mtb in the shed..

That and I just couldn't be bothered and have spent the entire day in jogging bottoms lazing on the sofa.

I tried to be strong and not go out today as it was tipping it down this afternoon but it was no good..I was a young man I couldn't resist! But it was only for an hour and honestly, I really did think about going to Morrisons instead..

I heard the horrible weather forecast for Sunday the other day. I thought it'd be good to go out in the wind and rain to show that i'm not a fair weather cyclist,but i'm glad i decided not to venture out as the wind and rain got worse! Some nasty sized tree branches had fallen on the roads! Imagine them landing on your head!

Because I am sensible. Riding doesn't have to be a priority and in all weathers. We only have one life and I intend to keep it going for as long as possible, avoiding unnecessary dangers if I can. Gale winds and rain are a fatal combination in my book, so is snow and ice.
