Someone once complained to me about Brighton's 20mph limits on the grounds that her car 'wouldn't go that slowly'. Some drivers actually do believe this rubbish.
How the hell she manages in car parks I probably don't want to know

Just this moment ordered a new 5 door Cooper for Mrs Milkfloat, we ummed and ahhhed over Pepper White or Orange for a few days and finally decided to play safe with the white. Should be 6-8 weeks before it is built unless the tv show has resulted in some quick orders. I will drive it occasionally when SWMBO wants the 'big car' and I won't be embarrassed to do so.

If I could get away with a small car for me, would buy one, wifes is just nice to drive and feels stuck to the road. Nippy and its not even the Cooper S !

I collect my Mini Cooper tomorrow. The Focus has done me well for 11 years, faultless and still with its original battery, but so very dull.
We are doing something on Saturday that I have never done before, and which may prove I'm getting old. We're going for a drive.

Mr R and I looked at getting a Mini... but it has to be one of the most uncomfortable cars out there, second only to the Nissan Juke.

How odd. I'm in my third MINI and about 30k miles a year with no problems with comfort.

The test drive I took was fine. I drive a lot of hire cars for business and I can work out fairly quickly if I'm going to end up uncomfortable, or with an aching ankle.

I was a toss up between a Mini Cooper S and the Abarth, but the Abarth won.

I see Italian engineering has advanced to the point they can actually fit the engine in this time,
