There is a graphic design in my Bianchi bike Hors Category. What I understand HC is a climbing classification that signifies an extremely tough climb.

But why such a permanent design painted onto my bike. Surely it doesn’t mean the bike can climb HC without any effort from the rider right?

A simple case of marketing gimmickry in full flow.

Either that or it means the carbon used is without category

You`re living on the edge there... The waterbottle cage police are in hot pursuit and want to question you in relation to the crime of metal cage on a carbon bike.

Is this thread a showing off exercise for the OP to let us know he's got a Bianchi HoC?

PS. Climb Cats in the TdF start at 4% gradient. A 4% grade of 20.01 km qualifies as Hors Cat.

I do that on my turbo for a 45 minute training session. Its no big deal.
