I remember seeing him walk up Earls Court Road, just after take that split up. He was walking towards us drivers stuck in a traffic jam. Walking towards him and away from us was a smartly dressed woman in a business suit (skirt/blazer). Anyway he thought a smile and some swagger would so somehow land her in his penthouse for the night. It didn't!!
Oh how we laughed openly at the little shite
It wouldn't have worked in the plot. Mindy wouldn't have been able to understand him if he'd had a Stoke accent.
Here he is, in previously unseen footage, auditioning for the eponymous role of Mrs.Doubtfire

Phoney indeed...not just the accent. Americanisation (if such a word exists) of our language with words like candy really irritates me. Likewise when people call insects bugs. We all know that a bug is a mild infection - as in tummy bug. Minor rant over.

Can’t stand him.
He looks so smug all the time and like posh spice always seems to be in ‘poser mode?
He has one of those faces you just want to punch.
