I agree with Fab Foodie.
I don't text [except to send information to someone I can't talk to]
I like walking around and and talking to people, so I don't make internal phone calls.
I don't send personal emails [except jokes, of course].
Skype messaging is good for letting people know that you want to talk with them!!
Last week I had to insist
that my 17yo son call his friend on the phone and talk to him rather than continuous texting. His friend was down because he had made some bad choices and it threatened his studies next year. They talked for over an hour and everyone was much happier.
