Why you should shop around when planning a funeral.

my wishes so far have ranged from being taken from the church in the firebox of a traction engine - might as well head to the pub for all I care, won't be around too long (not sure the firebox is actually hot enough for that however)

I have also stated that there must be a bouncy castle at my funeral and that I wish to be buried on it - not sure how that would work, but it's not my problem

living near a steam railway I am now thinking of swapping the traction engine for a Black 5, surely the firebox is big enough in one of those...

Fast and careful!
I live in a rural location where the funerals were organised by the local builder, the family business is now 2nd generation and still giving personnel service,(local builders with funerals is quite traditional apparently)no need to shop around they organise what you require
Funerals should be a celebration of some ones life, where and how you are buried is a personal thing but should not take away from what you did in your life,if you enjoyed food in life a good feed for your mourners,or if you liked to party a good party to celebrate your life, and so on,
