I would have a right go at her, get her to replace it, then she might not be so careless with the next one.:laugh::laugh::laugh:

That's very festive of you, a typical Punch & Judy plot.

I don’t trust people who take off their rings.

Yeah sure there are reasonable professional excuses, but. Tape over it if I had to but I have never (okay maybe twice) taken off my ring in fourteen years.

I probably should, every time I go lake swimming I get nervous, but it’s not right to remove your ring. The whole point is it’s permanence.

My wife has nearly lost her finger during pregnancy rather than remove her ring. I think that was taking it too far.

I really shouldn’t wear one in work . Being as gold has a rather low resistivity ..

Mine came off in July when I smashed my finger on stone steps ... it won’t go back on due to damage by swelling .

Mrs Colly had her engagement ring stolen. We did claim on the insurance and got back the value of it. At that time, we were, like so many, in hoc to the bank and were massively behind on the mortgage.
You guessed it. The money went on paying off the bank so we could keep a roof over our head. However things change and we got back on track and for her 50th I bought her a new one.

It will never quite replace the original but as a brownie point generator it's hard to beat.^_^

her engagement ring. And she's well upset. I can't see what all the fuss is about, she's had it for ages. Shall I go and get her a new 'un?
An engagement ring is very precious. Be very sympathetic to your lady for it’s loss.
She loves the ring as she loves you!
Only offer a replacement if you’ve searched high and low to no avail.

My wife lost her engagement ring for a month or so.

Searched high and low and could not find it until one day pulled the bed out for get to the storage and there is was behind the headboard.

I think what happened was she took the ring off and put it on bedside table then the duvet cover caught it and made it fall under the bed.

I was best husband ever for a short while.
