My wife died a couple of years ago. Her fingers had thinned a bit and she tended to take her ring ring off and leave it on a side table in case it fell off and got lost. After she died I automatically went to get it from it’s usual place and could not find it. It has never been found and I find it quite upsetting that an item of such sentimental value could just vanish and I often speculate as to where it has gone.

I'll try not to lose any sleep over you not trusting me. BTW, do you and your wife leave your rings on when you're preparing food? Remind me not to eat at your house!
Somehow we’ve contained the Ebola outbreak to just the bread maker.

I hope it reappears one day as these things sometimes do.

It's a bit more complicated than that...

Would you take out a gold crown before you eat?

Never had a wedding ring because we agreed that with all the stuff I do I would wreck it. We got a gold and platinum wedding ring made for her by a jewellery student for £200.

When rock climbing we take our rings off as a fall could rip your ting finger off. Lost my ring once when it slipped off on a cycle commute home and rolled down hill. Managed to find it on verge after 30 mins of searching on hands and knees. Relieved!
I used to take my rings off for climbing too. Even at the climbing wall, for the same reason as you.
I used to take them off when I had an eczema outbreak too, the rings didn't help any.

Now I am ring free.
I hope that your wife finds her ring @fatblokish
