Has anyone used these new lifeline tools from Wiggle??
Are they any good??

I'm particularly interested in the torque wrench set for £25. Thoughts?

They are not that new. I have used a wide variety of them and find them very good value for money. The same torque wrench (different sticker) is sold for £50 elsewhere, I have the Lifeline one.

My only experience is with their cable pullers. They arrived broken. As did the replacements! I got a refund after that. I am however probably going to get the torque wrench soon.

I got a lifeline pump. It didn't really work well enough near the top of its range, so I'm back carrying the Revolution mini track pump in my bag again, despite it being over a foot long.

I bought a Topeak 3-12Nm and a 200Nm Draper beam wrench (34887) for less than that Lifeline one, although I already had some ¼" drive sockets to use with the big one.

+1 for the torque wrench, but really you should ask someone who has tested the calibration. We're all Just assuming it's set up right.

Then why get a torque wrench at all? Use a regular one and guess...
At least a torque wrench ( however uncalibrated) gives some consistency. Guess you want to see a calibration sticker on yours before you use it. That'll put the price up nicely.

Jeez mate it's for a bike, not a Eurofighter!
Yeah, as it's not like the clamp bolt for a carbon seatpost needs to be done up accurately. Finger-tight will do Actually no, hang off the wrench and tighten it until you hear a crack Damn it, I'll use a torque wrench...
