I always though that he was a total tosser and up his own jaxy until I saw him on the Graham Norton Show where I discovered that he has an incredible sense of humour and is an active donor/supporter of Science, Technology and Maths education in areas of urban deprivation.

Still hate his dress sense though.....

In between here and there
Thought the almost constant dropping in to the conversation of his Charitee work was a bit of bad taste, but he is American so he has his excuses. Thought the sponsored swimming was a suitable put down!

I don'r see why he should hide his light under a bushel. As for the sponsored swimming, it was one of the few opportunities that that particular comedian could make a contribution - he was outclassed by Will.i.am and Miriam Margoyles who was delivering a 'when I am old I will wear purple' performance.

It was one of the most entertaining Graham Norton shows that I've seen.

Best bit for me, apart from Miriam Margoyles ticking people off for using the word 'like' out of context (i.e. "I was, like, going to say") was her revelation of once talking a masturbating soldier out of a tree in the meadows in Edinburgh and finishing the job for him!

He seems nice enough. The clothes and language is part of his image, which I guess is part of his job to sell his own "brand" as the management tend to encourage although I think he actually sells a fashion line. He wears gloves a lot and stands out, could be good for cycling? ;)

My thoughts exactly! Also a nice contrast between the "putting something back into my neighbourhood" attitide that many US sports/music people have and the tax avoiding grabbing as much as i can attitude of so may Brit sports/music people.
