I had a quick go of a mates son's bike that I got working again for them. Bloody awful. Like riding something with disconnected steering and wheels. Enough to put anyone off cycling.

Bike thieves are often not cyclists and with it wearing a familiar name (Dunlop) I reckon it could be deemed a worthy target.

I read that Sports Direct recently sold the Dunlop brand to a Japanese company for £137m, don't know if includes the bike brand but another reason (as if you needed one) not to buy one.

There's obviously something about those stands which hinders clear thinking. It was safer when those Christmas tree sellers took them over - at least you could hide your bike then...
