It's now the beginning of March and just about three months since the best sections of Glentress and Innerleithen were rideable, fresh snow last weekend and night time temperatures well below zero all this week, with day time temps never above 3 or 4 degrees, will it ever clear, need a fix of proper mtbing soon.

The pictures in this link are quite low down about 250m, as the Black run goes up to over 600m then you can imagine how rideable the high bits will be:

I tried to get up the spooky wood climb a couple of weeks ago, didn't get far. They say the snow is clearing over in the west, but Dumfires is forecast for well below freezing tonight, so I can't see it will be much better. First time I think I have ever wished for 10degC and Rain.
