Wind direction ?

Anyone have the time to give me a crash course in wind direction ? Going to visit relatives tomoro and it's going to be my longest cycle yet 4hrs and don't want to be cycling into a constant head wind . The weather forecast says north wind but I havnt a clue . Ile post pics to show the wind and route thanks

Here's an idea: look at the wind direction then take the train out and cycle back with the wind or vice-versa. It's s great way to make the ride more enjoyable.

It basically tells you what direction the wind is coming from.

In other words, if the arrow is pointing east, the wind is coming from the west.

Easiest way to think of it, if the arrow for the wind points the opposite way to the direction you want to cycle, you'll be riding into a headwind. If it points the same way as you want to cycle, you are having a good day!

Easiest way to think of it is, no matter which way the arrow points and no matter what direction you are cycling, the wind will be against you .
