At the very last bit there's a cycle path that runs along the side of the A590 but I can't get the map to recognise it.

If only I had looked yesterday would have joined you, I ended up doing 51miles round Morecambe Bay, it came out nice mid morning.

It got out really nice. I was terrible in this ride though, wsn't feeling 100% and struggled in a few places. I guess the effects of my cold are still lingering. I still couldn't have climbed Cartmel though

What speed did you get to on that decent? looked fast and did you strava it lol

Not too fast, 34mph top speed. First time I'd been down it so didn't want to go crazy. Storms had washed gravel onto the road in random places and that hairpin was covered in the stuff.
