We have Windows 10 and keep getting these Windows 11 updates on the screen.

Are they the generic updates that Windows send out? We are wary of pushing anything on the screen in case it is a scam .

Run Windows Update. It will probably offer W11 but then when ran might declare your pc to be currently incompatible.

Windows wants you to move to 11 that's all. Whether you want to do that is another matter.
You are a bit exposed still using 10 because of the missing security updates. If your computer is up to it I would either move to 11 or another system entirely, but do a bit of research first as there are pros and cons whichever way you go.

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
I just installed it. No problems. I've had enough in the past worrying about versions and support periods at work. I just try to keep my own stuff on the latest versions.

I had W11 force its way onto my pc after young oxo accepted a tab to update, it stopped my printer working amongst a couple of other packages. I reverted back to W10 a couple of times before finally accepting W11 after 6 months ish, everything seems to work. However I still prefer W10.
