Microsoft has recently withdrawn software that enabled 'secure boot' on a number of motherboards, the problem with this however is this, if your installation of Windows 7 was using secure boot, microsoft have withdrawn the tools your motherboard needed to access and boot the drive, rendering it completely useless.
