Windsor & Windsor Park.

I'm thinking of visiting Windsor & the Park at some point in October, arriving at about 05:30 ish.
Any local knowledge re: pedalling my Brommie in the park area?
I can't see many/any bike paths in the park itself but am happy with 9 or 10 miles walking around it (and the castle, too,) as well as a similar mileage riding.

Watch out, because there are some specific areas of Windsor Great Park (The Long Walk is one I know of, but there may be others) that have bylaws that state "no bicycles". Not "no cycling", but no bikes at all, even if they are being walked. Now I don't know how strict they are about enforcing this, especially at 5:30am, but it is worth noting.

Thanks for that bit of info.. I'm happy sticking to the 'legal' places to ride as I can explore the rest of the area on foot for half a day.

When the kiddies were young i sometimes took them and the bikes to Windsor Great Park; somewhere different to explore.
We'd park the car in Watersplash Lane near Cheapside, and ride in through the nearby large gate.

I found a bike map on the ~ Windsor Great Park ~ site.. I can probably get a 10 mile circuit done then, after putting the bike back in the car, walk around the disallowed parts, too.
Or maybe walk first, then bike, depending on the weather and how I feel on the day.
