I'll probably have to change my name to 'The Weather Whiner' soon, but it wasn't half blowy this morning.

Sod the cold, I had to stop at one point because the wind, erm, took the wind right out of my sails.

8 on the Beufort scale I beleive, about 41mph.

Wind? What wind, there's no wind down here at ground level.

Very windy here this week. It seems to have been windy all summer. Still, I beat the rain home last night and we down here in the corner nearest France don't seem to have had as much rain as the rest of the Country, so that's nice.

Though I'd rather have the rain than the wind.

Crikey the wind is strong. Westerly 6-8 on the Beaufort scale. Wouldn't be surprised if a few trees are uprooted, hopefully, not on me. Boy did it rain last night. A truly crap summer.

I woke up this morning to find half my tomato plants had been broken, despite having strong poles and vines. Bit annoying as I'd been lovingly tending them for months.

Very windy on my way in today, was hoping it would up be behind me but it was mainly a side wind with a little head on schananigans. Hopefully it will result in a quick ride home.

Yep, very windy here too!

My Garmin tells me my heart-rate was increasing on the flat! (normally It decreases at that point of my route). And that was only maintaining 10mph!

I dont mind as long as the wind is still blowing the same way for my commute home!

I too found it windy this morning (Birmingham) but that was because I drove to the dentist to drop my car there with the top down!;)

It's great with the top down - like cycling but without the effort!!!

Was that to get the grill flossed and polished?

Yup, windy here as well.

Cycled to the barbers this morning into a heavy headwind - very hard work on the single speed.

The ride back aided by the tailwind and reduced weight (due to haircut) was effortless - even uphill!
