Wing TT or Prolite :/

Hi

I'm in need and on the market for a new seat post as the one I have is just to small. It works fine though its way above the limit line and I think it could damage the frame despite it being used for over eight years and Im changing saddles / crank of what will take the seat post even higher

So this bike is doing some TT this year and despite me being rubbish in the discipline I thought I may as well look the part. Yep ! some of the gear and no idea :-D

Any one any idea / or experience with these post ? They come in at about the same price bracket.

Can't help directly but you get an awful lot of those Mike Burrows aero seatposts on sale second hand in eBay. I'm just guessing that the benefits of an aero seatpost (practically nil except they look good) are outweighed by the downside -crosswinds/discomfort/trouble setting up etc.

Hi. Ive looked on Ebay and second hand with scratches were selling for £40-£60

You can get a warranted shiny new one for another £10 - £20. One of many reasons why I don't use it though for some reason I always pop on fleabay to have a look. >>>
