Winter arrives in Essex

Snowing quite heavily in SE Essex at the moment.

No cycling for me today anyway as I have to go to work soon.

I'm glad to be off the bike today. Saw an old Ford pile into the back of a nice new BMW this morning.

Went building snowmen and sledging on the field behind us at 8.30am - came in 3 hours later (With the kids of course)... Roads have dried up now and the snow has gone - had about 3-4 inches early on.

Those kids who didn't get up early missed it.....

Still not riding today - little bit of DIY then cooking Lunch

I got out for a fast 22 on the MTB....got caked in dirty water.......but great fun...
Everywhere is dry here now....the sun shone and dried it all out...along with the wind...now the snowflakes that are falling are just melting straight away.

I was racing in it. and in SE Essex too
