Winter commuting tyres?

I put some 23mm Spesh All Condition Pro tyres on my commuter for the summer, but now we're into the wetter months they're slipping a bit in the wet.

I haven't come off the bike yet, but the back-end seems a little skittish on fast corners and I wondered if any of you have winter tyre recommendations for something a bit stickier.

I'm not too bothered about speed, but if I can get thin and grippy in the same package then all the better.

Cheers,
Shaun

I like my 25mm Pro-Race 2 a lot, although they're probably hard to get now.

They're not cheap, but I'd feel confident in recommending the Pro-Race 3 as a decent, lively & grippy tyre.

Conti GP 4 seasons seem to be well thought of especially in the wet,had mine a week now and have to say they feel really grippy.
Not the cheapest mind about £30 each.
