To avoid gloves which are too bulky, I have had some success with wearing a pair of silk “liner” gloves (eBay), with a pair of “normal” winter gloves (endura).
Another vote for the silk liners. Also worn with waterproof gloves stop sweaty hands.that’s what I do, I just bought some thin inner gloves for skiing from decathlon that were about £5 and they work very well

yep ski gloves are generally very good.I wear ski gloves when it is below about 4C.
They were a cheap pair of gloves, around £10 IIRC.
