My venerable Alturas have developed that tackiness in the palms when synthetic materials degrade. Had 'em an age, so what's keeping your hands warm and dry this winter? If we've done winter gloves already apologies for the repetition and link me, do.

It's been so mild down here, that I am still wearing my spring/autumn gloves. My winter gloves came from aldi or lidl and have done more than a few winters.

"Magic" gloves with summer gloves on top for 90% of rides. Heavy cycling gloves when gets to 2-3⁰C for the other 10%.

Magic gloves are around £1, woollen, stretchy, one size fits all and surprisingly warm. Available in all sorts of convenience stores, newsagents, street markets etc.

Keeps my hands warm without the sweaty mess "proper" cycling gloves create.
