Winter is i-cumin in,
Lhude sing goddamn!
Raineth drop and staineth slop
And how the wind doth ram
Sing goddamn!

It's on it's way. Again. Let's bid a fond farewell to our summer, all too brief.

looking at weather forecast yesterday it looked like we were all going to be washed away today Saturday but just looking on bbc weather site just now it just looks like we might get damp if we are lucky

Yes according to the forecast there'll be, thunder, lightning, heavy rain and maybe hail this evening. And the temp will plummet to 23c. Altho' thurs and fri it'll back in the 30's. It's not good plastering weather..
Why ever not, high humidity will stop it drying out too quickly! May need to be careful of where all that sweat is dripping, it could affect the mix.
It's fine for the plaster, not so good for the plasterer!

Thunderbolts and lightning, very, very frightening for me, for me.

Just because it's going to rain a bit doesn't mean summer is over. We've got all of August to play with, and September is often nice and mild.

I'm miffed I haven't caught a decent thunderstorm in recent days, either in York or Manchester.
