Wireless or cable?

I can connect to my Huawei mobile Wi-Fi either through a wireless connection or a data cable and USB3 port.

Does anybody know if there is any advantage in using one over the other?

Depending on how many other machines are using the wifi (contention) the USB port could well be quicker, even taking into account the time to find the cable.

PS I'm normally the only person using the Wi-Fi.

Put it this way, in a modern network, cabled is quicker than wifi so I'd reckon, all things being equal, wired USB is probably quicker than wifi

Plus when the phone is connected via USB it will be charging.
