Doctors this morning. I still feel rough but at least the tablets control the nausea, and I'm kind of adjusting to the dizzy moments ( for long term sufferers there is actually a technique where you can help the body re-learn its balance.)

Anyhoo, I'm going stir crazy at home and I feel the lack of exercise presents a greater risk to my health than going to work in a restricted capacity. I don't expect to be allowed to drive yet but I'm hoping if I grovel and whine enough he might let me back on the bike and I can resume my commute.

Good luck.
Don't rush yourself though, slow and steady wins the race and all that.

Have you got a turbo? Not ideal but if it lets you keep turning the pedals while waiting for the dizziness to get better.... or do the doctors advise total rest from exercise?

Signed off another 2 weeks and most emphatically told no riding. Got myself keyed up, now feel deflated and low. Almost want to cry. I won't, but that's how it feels

It won't feel like it, but it's probably for the best. Wouldn't do to get back on the bike too soon and end up coming a cropper.
Console yourself watching you tube clips of idiotic cyclists?? That's what I've spent the morning doing.

I was off sick 3 days last week, still don't feel fit enough to commute by bike so I'm bus-ing it in. It might be good to leave cycling till later in the week, especially if it's going to rain. Being sensible isn't much fun, hang in there Drago!

I watched 2 mins of JK last week, made me feel even sicker!
