Me too, she still drives it very slowly though.
Yup! Exactly! 265hp, 6 speeds and it never sees the far side of 50kph... dammit!

Mine drives a GTi manual 6 speed, but changes too soon and misses the peak power.
A bit frustrating on the rare occasions you might use the acceleration.

My wife just said that we have to redecorate the lounge after Christmas because she bought new curtains and the walls won't match.
Let's hope she at least bought the right size curtains or you might be getting new windows too!

My partner still gauges fuel economy by how much it costs to fill up the tank. I tried explaining that this has little to do with it, it's merely the size of the fuel tank. But she insisted I was talking nonsense. I even tried to say that if you've got a very old car with a 5ltr engine but the tank only held 10 litres, it would still be cheap to fill up but you'd have to do so every 20 miles which wouldn't mean its econmical. But at that point she "left" the conversation and said I was trying to confuse her
