Cold Christmas is one of my favourites - just between Hertford and Much Hadham.

I've been a few times through Cold Christmas .... brilliant cycling roads around that area (I cycle from Shelford through Barley, Barkway, Thundridge, then through Cold Christmas and back through Ickleton/Duxford .... there's lots of decent hills around there, and good quiet roads
