Talking of wood , I was listening to Chris Evans good few years back on the radio , when a caller phoned in.
The subject was strange sexual encounters.
He worked in a timber mill , and was aroused by the smell of wood so he would get hold of a load of wood shavings in his hand and pull one off.
He was worried though and asked if he could catch ' Dutch Elm Disease '
Made me chuckle ^_^

I guess after years of alloy and carbon frames these bikes go against the grain. I'm not sure if the idea will ever take root. The might be bark ing up the wrong tree, but the idea might grow and mature, as from little acorns do great oaks grow. I guess they know what they're doing or they'd be conkers to build them. Still, it's nice to see they've gone out on a limb.

It'll probably take a splinter group to start making these , thought I'd chip in , as he leaves the building

Woodworm could be a problem. They just love a nice piece of wood ..

Easy to nick as well just saw through the frame and glue it back together again.
